Pixpoo is five collections of small, single-purpose tools rather than one large application: an image toolkit, a PDF toolkit, a photo editor, a whiteboard and a passport photo maker. Nothing needs installing, nothing needs an account, and nothing is added to the file you download.
The point of the split is speed. Most of the time you are not editing so much as meeting a requirement — a size in pixels, a limit in kilobytes, a format someone insists on, a document that has to be one file instead of four. Those jobs deserve one screen and one button, not a canvas full of panels. The editor is there for when you genuinely do want to sit and work on a picture.

Where each tool does its work
This varies across the site and is worth being precise about, because “secure” is a word every tool site uses and few explain.

Camera and location data is stripped by default wherever an image passes through, so a photograph you publish does not quietly carry the coordinates of where it was taken.
Two choices people get stuck on
Image toolkit or photo editor? If you can name the outcome — “1200 pixels wide”, “under 500 KB”, “a JPG” — a toolkit tool gets you there in one step. If the outcome is “better”, open the editor, where you can judge the result as you go.
Which compressor? They are not interchangeable. Compress PDF works on a document and mostly on the images inside it, while Compress Image works on a single picture. A photo you are about to place in a document is better compressed first, as an image.

Frequently asked questions
Is Pixpoo free to use?
Yes — every tool is free, with no account, no credit card and nothing stamped on your results. A rate limit exists to stop automated abuse, which ordinary use will not reach.
Do I need to sign up or install anything?
No. Pixpoo runs in any modern browser on desktop, tablet and phone. There is nothing to download, no extension, and no sign-up before you can use a tool.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
It depends which tool, and the split is worth knowing. The PDF toolkit, the whiteboard and the passport photo maker do all their work inside your browser, so those files never leave your device at all, and the photo editor does too apart from exports to an uncommon format. The image toolkit is the exception: resize, crop, compress, convert and upscale hand the picture to our server, which keeps it in memory just long enough to do the work and sends the result straight back. It touches no disk, is not retained afterwards, and goes nowhere else. The watermark tool sits in between, staying in your browser whenever the output is PNG, JPEG or WebP.
What can I actually do here?

Between them they cover the everyday jobs: making a file smaller, changing its shape or format, combining or splitting documents, signing something, and preparing a photo to a specification.
How do I choose between the image toolkit and the photo editor?
The toolkit is for one defined job done quickly — set a size, hit a file-size limit, change a format. The photo editor is for open-ended work where you want to see what you are doing: filters, text, layers, drawing. If you can state the job in a sentence, a toolkit tool is faster.
Is anything stored on my account?
The tools do not keep your files. Where a tool works in your browser there is nothing to store in the first place, and where processing happens on our server the file exists only for the moments the job takes. Nothing you process is kept, catalogued or used for anything else.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes, all of it, in a mobile browser. The tools that run in your browser are bounded by your phone’s memory rather than by any upload limit, so a very large PDF or a several-hundred-page scan is happier on a laptop. Everyday files are fine either way.
Are the results watermarked or limited in quality?
No. Nothing is added to your file, no resolution is held back, and there is no paid tier that unlocks a better result. What the tool produces is what you get.
