Terms of Service
Last updated: September 1, 2026
These terms govern your use of the Pixpoo website and its tools. Using the site means you accept them. If you do not, please do not use it. We have kept them short and readable, because terms nobody reads protect nobody.
What Pixpoo is
Pixpoo is a free collection of browser-based tools for images and documents: an image toolkit, a PDF toolkit, a photo editor, a whiteboard and a passport photo maker. There is no charge, no paid tier and no account requirement for any tool. A rate limit protects the service from automated abuse; ordinary use will not reach it.
Your content stays yours
You keep every right you had in the files you process here. We claim no ownership, no licence and no interest in them, and there is nothing in these terms that grants us one.
Most tools never transmit your file at all. Where a tool does upload one — the server-side image operations, and a few uncommon export formats elsewhere — it is used solely to perform the operation you asked for and is discarded immediately afterwards. Our Privacy Policy sets out exactly which tools do which.
You are responsible for having the right to use the content you process, and for what you do with the results.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use Pixpoo to:
- process content you have no right to use, or infringe anyone’s intellectual property, privacy or other rights;
- create or handle unlawful, harmful or abusive material, including anything that sexualises or endangers a child;
- produce forged, altered or fabricated documents intended to deceive — identity documents, financial records, official correspondence or credentials;
- remove or defeat protection on material you have no right to access;
- overload, disrupt, probe or reverse-engineer the service, or circumvent its rate limits;
- break any law that applies to you.
Because most tools run entirely on your own device, we generally have no visibility of what you process and no technical means of intervening. That makes these obligations yours in practice as well as in principle.
What we do not promise
Pixpoo is provided as it is and as available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Some specifics are worth stating plainly rather than leaving inside a general disclaimer:
- We do not guarantee availability. The site may be unavailable, slow or changed without notice.
- We do not guarantee a particular result. Compression is lossy, enlargement cannot recover detail that was never captured, text recognition makes mistakes, and conversion between formats involves compromises. The tool pages describe these limits honestly; please read them before relying on an output.
- We do not hold a copy of your work. Nothing is stored on our side, so nothing can be recovered from us if you lose a file. Keep your originals.
- We do not offer legal or compliance assurance. A passport photo that satisfies a template on this site may still be refused by the office reviewing it. An electronically signed PDF is not a certified digital signature. A password-protected file relies on the encryption standard behind it and on the strength of the password you chose.
Third-party components
Some tools load open-source software into your browser from public code networks in order to run, and shared whiteboard sessions are relayed through a public server we do not operate. We are not responsible for the availability or behaviour of services outside our control. The Privacy Policy lists these and what each one receives.
Advertising
The site carries advertising, which is how it stays free. We do not control which adverts are shown, and an advert appearing on Pixpoo is not an endorsement by us of the advertiser or of what they sell.
Our own material
The Pixpoo name, logo, site design, written content and software are ours or our licensors’, and are protected by intellectual property law. You may link to us freely. Copying, republishing or redistributing the material needs our permission.
Accounts
No tool requires an account. If you create one, keep your credentials secure and take responsibility for activity under it. You may stop using the service or ask us to delete your account at any time.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for lost data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of Pixpoo. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and if you are a consumer you keep the statutory rights your local law gives you.
Suspension and changes
We may change, suspend or withdraw the service or any tool, to protect the service, to comply with the law, or because a tool is no longer worth maintaining. We may restrict access where these terms are being broken.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Continuing to use Pixpoo after a change means you accept the updated version, and the date at the top will tell you when it last changed.
